What I do when I go to the Playboy Mansion- Shot by Brandon G.

Photography is a hobby to me.

I never went to any formal training.

My style is raw and I dont care to know what the rules are for photographing in certain situations.

I don’t know what the numbers on the screen mean but I do know what they do and how to make them work for me.

I don’t own a ton of lenses nor do I have a gang of cameras for different situations. I have a meager pro-sumer cam and an older pro cam which I dont use too often.

I don’t really know how to fine tune my flash, but I know enough to make it do what I want. Besides, I try not to use it if I can help it.

Even though what I listed above people may look at as negative traits of a photographer, people still hire me. I have shot at the Playboy Mansion to do a photo shoot with The Girls Next Door. I have been hired to do events including wedding, art shows, car shows and city fund raising shindigs.

It’s still a surprise to me. Photography is still a hobby for me. I never meant it to make me money. I am not in it to make money. I have a day job. I love what I do but I always fall into a situation where i’m working as a photographer. It always comes back to me shooting away….

… and I dont mind.
